Blue Clock??

Does anyone know how to change the clock to light up blue?....and does anyone have any pics?? Thanks!!

remove clock from the dash, pull the metal clips off of either side to open it up, and follow the pic below. only change is that i dont suggest putting blue plastic in front of it, color the glass with a blue sharpie marker, i did two layers of sharpie, to make sure it was as deep blue as possible and there were no missed spots. pop it back together and reinstall.

nope, the screen itself lights up green... so the only colored filter that you can put in front of it is blue. any other color would end up filtering out almost all of the light.

is there any way to make it look like its stock agian because with the metal prong in the way it kinda sticks out. not enuff to where you can notice it but i can tell because i did it...and like i think i messed up because there are still like little blusish green spots and i dont want to take it out agian because ive already scratched the plastic that is around the clock

dude you F'ed it up you just color the back sid of the glass not the plastic

i ljust took off the backing to get to the glaas colored with 2 coatsand re installed leaving the plastic in peace
