i mite b takin my frunt grille off to add a custom mesh grille soon. is removing the H emblem from the frunt an easy task? does it just come off? if sum1 coule leave instructions, it would help alot. thnx

u can pull the actual H emblem off the grille (dont know if its sticky or screws) but theres still part of the grille thats shaped to hold the H- u need to cut it out, which will leave a hole of unpainted plastic on the bottom edge. u can either live with that (some people do) or fill the hole with body filler and get the grille rechromed.
so no, removing the H is not so easy.

in order to remove the entire "H" piece from my front grill, i had to actually cut it off of the top chrome strip with a hacksaw... and then sand it down.
i actually don't even have those strips on my grill right now... the project is still in progress. but, i cut the "H" emblem off of my top chrome strip, sanded it down, and painted both the top and bottom strips black. soon, i'm going to put my strips back on and mount my black mesh behind the grill housing.
