if anything, diy projects make your car feel much more personal, as you know you put your time, effort, and sweat into it. at the end of the day, you can step back and say "damn, i did that!"

though it's not the route i would go with corners, i definitely don't think that it's ***. i think it ended up looking rather hot.
exactly. i think they look better than the ebay ones BTW bro.. they look super shiney and super clean infact now im considering doing that heh.

Yep, I think there is a DIY on the red tails on this site. I'm going to be doing mine red/black in a couple months ... we'll see how that turns out. BTW NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER buy anything from rsversion.com ... they are total assholes and have crappy service/products!!

while everyone one is one the subject of painting lights, has anyone ever tried to bake a corner, bumper or tail light? Will it melt if i bake it at 300 degrees? i know someone out there has tried this or knows someone who has

There you go. Make sure you order right away if you want it. They're getting hard to find, especially Amber, since it's discontinued.

I picked up some amber stain glass paint from michaels.
You could pick it up at any hobby lobby, also trasparent testors paint works too.

The can was a mid-size (12~oz) and was 4 bucks.

I did 3-4 coats to match my corners
and the paint is holding up over weather and chips etc
No more cb7, 7 years of ownership and 196K on the ticker before she was sold

Orange, my friend. I've heard mixed reviews about Testor's...definitely stick with Krylon if you have the chance...and always use clear coats on top of the paint, because it will fade and chip off eventually if not used in conjunction with a clear coat.

Iam new to this i just got my Accord and I plan on hooking my shit up slowly just had a question on painting your tail lights and corners.
For my Corner lights they have a yellow orange already so How would I go about making it all one color? Same for the back Where the orange is in the back I want it Clear. but my croners I want either all clear or all orange how do you go about changing it to clear if it is already a color? Or how would I blend the orange already on my corner light with the one Iam going to put on there or do you think I should make them clear? Any suggestions to start off?
