Red/clear problem, need some opinions.

On the back of the red/clears I ordered for my 90 Coupe the inner lights don't have any bulb sockets, instead there's just a big rectangular area that looks like some kind of panel is supposed to clip onto it. With the lights I have on the car now (black altezzas) I'm pretty sure the inner lights have a bulb "socket" or "hole" for me to put the bulb in, not some place for a "panel" to clip onto the back.

Anyone have any pictures of the back of the inner lights of a 90-91? that way I'd have a frame of reference, since I no longer have my stock lights (they were cracked badly, I threw them away)

You are right, a panel does go in that spot. I believe the altezzas are the same. If they aren't, then you will need the boxes off of OEM tails. That's the reason you see so may for sale threads in here, we don't throw stuff away, for this very reason. Good luck on finding those boxes. I'll keep an eye out this weekend for some.

hmm, now that I think about it I think I might still have the little boxes just hanging there, hooked into the wiring. I think they were necessary for the lights to work, and I think I do remember pulling those off of the old lights.

red/clears require the rear panel (as well as those little electrical boxes) from a set of stock tail lights. altezzas dont. so youll have to track down a set.
