    Help with Fog light wiring

Shortyly I will receive a set of fogs with harness, 4inch wiring and molding. I also bought a JDM fog light switch that will arrive shortly after. Someone had mentioned to me that I will need a relay. I dont know if anyone is selling just fog light relays but I began looking on ebay and they had a light wiring kit from eurolite. It includes relay, wires, and switch. What I had in mind is using the kit for its relay and probably its wires. Would that relay help in connecting the jdm fogs? Would the wire hold up the current? Would that wire be able to connect to the JDM fog light switch? This also goes for intersection lights that will be connected with bumper lights and side markers. Please provide info.

the harness should have had the relays attached to it, they are the small gold/black cubes... were those pulled off the harness before you bought it?

you can either use the stock harness and relays, or the eurolite one, either would work perfectly fine. the OEM one is a bit more complex, tying in to different connectors here and there... the aftermarket harness is exactly the same in theory, but just a simpler way of achieving it.

you can use either harness with the OEM switch and foglights.

im a little confused...did you get (gonna get) the oem switch??
I got my set off a car in the junkyard and i took the whole front bumper, and the oem switch located inside the car. The only thing that i need after that to hook it up was a simple relay that i got from pepboys. I ran new wires from the actual fog lights to the relay and to the switch because all the original wires were were messed up.
all-in-all the items that i used were (1) the fog lights (2) the oem switch (3) wire (i used speaker wire) (4) a relay (it costs like 3 buxs)

i was confused before i did it too, it took me a couple of hours before everything made sense.

OK so i guess i can use the wiring kit if it doesnt come with relay. Im waiting for switch and the foglights to arrive.
