I just wanted to know if anyone has ever tried to removed the moldings from the back and front bumper. I have a 93 honda accord and I am tried to go for the clean look. I know the side moldings can be done easily but I have heard mixed infomation about the front and back bumper. If anyone has any experience with this or knows someone who has done it let me know. Thanks

youll have to bring the bumpers to a body shop and have them mould them out, the stuff they need to use is this flexible stuff that bonds well to plastic, its expensive, so be prepared...

i got my bumpers done
the best stuff to use is called fuzor its around $50 a tube and you will probably need around i would say at least 30 tubes to do it teh right way.
once that stuff is on the plastic it becomes part of the bumper its so strong but expensive.
if you want it done a little cheaper just use some fiberglass filler and try to use the least amount as possible, you will just have to sand down the body line
a little bit but not all the way through

Hence this is why my Accord had NO lines of weld marks or any waves in my doors.Adam - Retired OG member from '03

All of my shit was welded but we filled the seams with fusor so the metal could flex if it NEEDED to.. which it never did really.
This is why shaving and body work isn't DIY kind of material unless you're very skilled.
Yeah, the $50 spray can paint job may seem cool but it makes me laugh like a little school girl when I see cars like that.Adam - Retired OG member from '03
