opinions & advice on headlight, taillight scheme

So would a black 92 sedan look good (to you guys) with all amber corners, black bumper lights and then maybe red/whites in the back. Not sure about wheels, right now I dont have the money or know of any tasteful wheels for this car...

well first off red/clears look the best on a black car (so a big Hell Yes on that question)... then IMO i think clear lenses look best on a black car, the contrast is nice... aka a set of JDM one piece headlights and clear bumper lenses. i think amber corners and blackhousings look best on white and lighter cars. just my opinion tho.

I'm calling the total opposite on most everything he said, I'd say go for the red/white tail lights, then blackhousing jdm one piece headlights with black housing bumper lenses also just like the black cb7 on the main page of this site...that thing is bad ass

Well I have a black cb7 with clear bumpers and black housing corner lights and it looks pretty sweet. It might look better with clear corners too, but I kinda think they look to shiny. Definitely go with the clear bumper lights though. Red/white tails look good. I have some carbon fiber housing altezzas that look pretty nice too though. Definitely don't go with the amber lights. IMO they look like crap on any car no matter what color it is.

if you have it, try using photoshop to see how it looks...im blacking out the stock headlights and im thinking of going with amber corners so i'll let you know how it goes...as far the taillights, ive seen a couple of cars here with those and they look fine...i have carbon fiber alteezas but im going to paint the inside black...with the 92 4door you have alot of options...just look at the members rides and see what they have and take your pick

How hard is it to get them apart to paint the inside? I wanted to paint mine also because the housing isn't dark enough for me. I wasn't sure if I could get them apart and back together easily so that's why I haven't messed with it.

just food for thought. i think that you can go in almost any direction, and it will work. i think the key with the black housing is for more of a "smoke" effect, rather than a dark black effect. good luck with whatever you decide. and please post pics/mods/etc in our member's ride section

lithium's car is so hot, i like the ambers alot but i'm feeling the black housing headlights, corners, and bumpers alot more still

Well, pretty much everything everyone suggested sounds alright, but its all way outta my price range. The all amber corners i can get for like 6 or 7 dollars and the black bumper lights i can get for maybe a buck more. Tail lights would have to wait til I can find em cheap. And I mean CHEAP. (Im a cheap bastard if you havent guessed already) And sorry guys, I HATE altezzas...on anything. I dunno tho, I might just keep the amber on the back, especially if I can get em to where they dont look so...factory, ya know? Shinier. But Ill prolly go with the black bumper lights at least sometime soon.
