Bumper difference 91-93

So I'm tired of my jacked up bumper. I have a 91 lx and have found a bumper from a 93.
Will it fit? I know the headlights and grill are different. But will the bumper work. Looking at it I don't see why it won't.

It will work, but I remember read a thread on here that stated that there would be a gap under the head lights.

Yes. It will work. You will need to get the bumper lights to go with it. Check out crazymikey's car. He's got a 92/93 front bumper on his 90/91.

It has nothing to do with amber and clear, 9091 and 9293 bumper lights are different style/shape...

Yes and I believe the 93 bumper lights are amber stock.

The 92-93 bumper cover has about a 3/8 - 1/2 inch raised section between the headlights that will interfere with the 90-91 grille. Ideally, you need a 92-93 grille and 92-93 headlights (more rounded contour than 90-91).

It can be made to work. It can easily be trimmed down to accommodate the 90/91 grille.

I thought there looked to be a raised area under the grill but wasn't sure..
I wont be doing all that. Too much to do. I know once the bumper is off its easy but I don't feel like doing that much.

I may get it and shave some of the plastic off so it fits.

well man at least grab the 93 grille its very easy to switch them out and you have to take the grille off in order to take the bumper off

I would only be noticeable to other cb7 owners, for the most part. And also you, but it all depends on how you feel about it.

I went back today and picked it up. Then when I got home I cut the middle part off with a grinder.
Then I painted it with some dupli color paint. I will clear it later then hopefully put it on sunday pm

$5 for a grill that comes off in 2mins VS 30mins-1hr of grid work thatll never be reversible

You also have to change out the headlights to get it all to fit right.
Vs about 2 min with the grinder to take the lip off.

Just do it right or not at all...it has been covered extensively numerous times over and over.
