Respirator being a fancy name for a dust mask with a filter

I meant respiratory protection. Meaning save your lungs...

Pic related, I've got 7 of these but they are in rough shape.
Those center caps will polish up like the wheels do. The H on mine was painted on. SO I ordered some more from ebay.

I was worried about this too. wetsand them and them hit them with rough(205), not so rough(105)polish and them the wax of your choice.

I'll post some pics of mine this weekend. Looks like its stock, but polished

I doubt you can polish those center caps. The front of them are wrapped in some type clear coated aluminum.

Read it again, I never said you didn't. But since you're offering pics I would like to see them. I couldn't polish my caps up to match the wheels I polished.

use a chemical stripper, that's how I got the clear coat off of my wheels.

I wouldn't mind seeing pics too, just to see how they'll turn out. I think the Honda emblem is painted on mine too, they're about as stock as they come. I was just thinking of buying newer ones, the caps off the 2007 Civic Hybrids look nicer, not to mention I kinda dig the rims.

I thought so they just look so, different in my opinion. Very very sexy wheel there.

Even polished between the blades... extra long time! When I did my ex wheels, I refused to do them...

I used 400 grit on my orbital sander... then started doing them by hand... Never again polishing wheels again
