    Crap, my sunvisor looks beat!

Anyway to repair this damage? There was some paint on there before that absolutely woudn't come off, so I decided to stupidly use paint stripper, not knowing how strong it was.....and now THIS happened to it:

    is it done for?

Will sanding down the surface cause more harm?

sand and polish it smooth again, otherwise your best option would be to sand and paint it again.

          p.s. paint stripper eats plastic

haha yeah i found that out instantly, before i could wash it off, it just ate it. It kinda bubbled basically immediately. But I'll try sanding it, if not eh, someone here can have it if they have the time to do all that. I found two that day at the yard, one also from a Legend that fit my car perfect so I'll just let this one go.

it was a 93 Legend, pretty baller one too, it had an in car phone in the center console and heated and powered front seats. I was gonna grab the switches off of them, but then I saw the GC coilovers on the other Legend 2 cars away lol, so that took my attention til closing that day. I'm gonna go back on wed. and see what else that car may have. OHHHH, and it also had heated mirrors.....I wonder if those can be made to fit our CBs?

I just happened to have my digi cam that day for some reason so i took pics:

would that have been safe for plastic? you think i can polish it somehow? I don't have any powertools, just some sandpaper, 2000 grit, 1000 grit etc.
