ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

C-Pillar Bar and ABS Removal Questions

first question. i want to stiffen up my c-pillar by using a bar, i found a company called alex motorsports from japan who make an application for a CD Chassis Accord, it should fit my car but its $190, i dont wanna spend that much on assuming. then i ran into a CB7 owner on H-T.com and he used a c-pillar bar from a EF/DA made by like megan. i dont think it was EM-Racing which what i was looking into. so i guess my question is would a c-pillar bar that fits a CB7 fit a CD Accord which in turn should hopefully fit my CL???

second question. over winter break im gonna start my ABS removal process. i will most likely be the first CL to do this, and im assuming i would have to use Non-ABS parts from like a 94-95 LX or DX correct. you guys use a 40/40 proportioning valve from a DA integra, would the same rule apply for a CD chassis accord?? any 5th genners out there with an EX that got rid of there ABS, i need some guidance. thanks

and in advance i know ABS is safer and that im stupid for getting rid of it. thanks in advance. i realize this isnt a 5th gen Accord or CL community, but you guys seem very knowledgable.

Just get a c-pillar bar from ebay.. I got one.. FuncOvrFrm , Cali-Racer , JDMHOndaguy and 93accordexcoupe have one.

Seriously c-pillar bar will almost do nothing. So don't spend a crapload of money of it. Get one fron ebay.

Ahhh my friend there is a place lol..

You bolt iy up where the seatbelts are. You make a hole on the pillars for the brackets to go in.

ive only done a CB, but as long as you use parts that match your chassis youre good. so id imagine yeah, the 5g accord lx/dx stuff, including master cyl. prop valve would fit, do you have rear discs or drums?

i have an Acura CL, so everything is based off an EX Accord. so disks all around. BTW i think i remember seeing your car at that meet in highland park, nj.
