ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

x2 you should be able to bend it. One of the AC hoses sits really close to the header off the compressor you should be able to pass that a bit.

Wow... I've never heard that one.... I don't think you should have to "decharge" anything bro.... You may just want to go to a local shop man... Do think you should have to decharge anything for a header.

ya it should work, how far out do the headers go? many, and i mean many people have put headers on their car and kept A/C. Just look through the members ride section.

          Where exactly is it interfering?

I know my car header sits close to the high pressure line that comes out of the ac compressor. Anyway if your doing it on a stock motor it should bolt on. Either way my header was put on with the AC still in tact with the h22a also. You just need to wiggle it in or get the right angle. You can unbolt the AC if you want its just 4 bolts and a belt then just bolt it back on when your done and you wont have to decharge anything.

the fittings stop it from bolting up the header to the bolts. ive already spilled coolant on me be4 and it sucked. not tryin to do it again so i had it decharged and it probly needed it n e ways so its cool

ill get a pic of it soon. they need to be bent so the header can be moved over an inch toward the driver side.

the exhaust is just an ebay one

                    which header did you buy?

the ebay header on my H22 barely hits and i had to lightly bend the line out of hte way...

i bought a cheap ebay header for my F22 and it lands right where the fitting is, bending it wont even help. :grr:

just a bad design or something? sure they sent an f22 header or is it the flange that hits and is oversized or something?

i always thought they just copied the DC design with cheaper welds/materials

bad design, as it also tapped on the crossmember. it was a cheap-cheap ebay one though, one that probably didnt make its way through QC...

the one on this h22 though was a little better quality and touched the line, but only during installation. once on, it didnt hit.

                        this f22 one directly interferes.

not sure what header the OP actually ended up with, as theres a whole slew of "brands" on ebay

ok basicly i just bent the 2 AC fittings. it took a hella long time to get them bent to the right angle but its worth it! i got the header on and i also have AC!(just gotta get it recharged ) it was a cheap ebay header(works great BTW!)

well i think im gonna make a DIY for this cuz it sucks major balls to have a header but u cant install it. its really not hard its just time consuming cuz u gotta like alter some stuff to make them fit.

i also had to alter the thing that bolts up right be4 the flex pipe. im sorry i cant think of the word at the moment.
