ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I just switched my bosch platinums with the stock ngk v-powers and noticed no difference.

The NGK's are ten bucks for 4, the bosch were 33 for 4.

I'll put in a vote for the basic standard NGK's.
          PM me for the following...

in a honda, stick with OEM such as DENSO or NGK. reason being is that even though bosch or any other american made spark plug will give you mroe power in the first 1000 miles or so after that they are pretty useless (such as lagg and not as responsive) oem in the other hand was made specifically for our vehicals hence it will last the 10-15k intervals. Mine are 30k spark plugs but there 15 bucks each.... but if you trust foreign objects in your car go for it if not go with oem
either kill it or drift it...

OEM uses NGK why shouldnt you? Who knows better than OEM? Anyway spark plug/wire aint gonna be making much of a difference until you start pushing big power. And stock honda ignitions are pretty good from factorry as is.

ive heard people complaining that the Platinum +4 (4 tips) bog out their cars and dont ignite well enough.

i dont really see a need for multiple points... a good solid spark from a single tip sounds good to me, and copper NGKs work great and are cheap and disposable enough to swap out whenever you feel the need.

I work at a parts store and some of the people that come in hear all the hype of the Bosch Platinum +2s and +4s and come in and pick up a set. I've had SEVERAL customers come back complaining about how these spark plugs make their engines miss. The spark plugs with the "multiple firing electrodes" are ALL HYPE. THEY ARE JUNK. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM.

Spark plugs alone will not give your car more power. Also, spark plugs should last around 60k. If you're changing them every 10-15k you're throwing money away.

Spark plugs allows us to MAKE MORE POWER so therefore they will allow your engine to produce more HP. if you did not get the statement I made earlier.
your dumb if you think regular spark plugs last for 60k unless there were iridrium... and they usually cost about 17 bucks a piece denso brand.
15k is usual interval for spark plugs from HONDA. - V-power
mine are 30k plugs since there double platinum from HONDA

What do you mean spark plugs allow you to make more power? Have you ever heard of a turbocharged car just adding spark plugs to make more power? I sure havent. I have though, heard of a FI car adding an ignition box (ie MSD, Accel, etc) for more spark power. And just FYI platinum plugs should be good up until around 100k.
