ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    RollBack Mileage

So I have been driving my car for about a year now and have always thought The car had more milles on it that it says (127k) Given all of the repairs that I have done to the car. On a hunch I payed the for the carfax service and in 2005 the car had 212,465 milles on it ! My question is should I take it to the dealership and have them roll foward the milles, or should I just a cluster from a junk yard?

dont even mess with it, or swap over to an h22a and get the prelude cluster, or a 99 accord cluster i have 300k on my body and it says 86k on my digital 99 accord cluster.

oh damn i would of been so pissed. yea im in the process of getting a cluster on ebay they have about 10 of them for 40 bucks or so. but i just have to replace the glass i have a small crack in mine but regardless i have to buy the complete thing. you can look for one with close to the mileage you want although ive only seen a few 200k+ on ebay. and just plug in the 3 green cables and be good to go.

what did your title say it had? if the carfax reported 200+ and the car was since titled at anything less than that, it would have been flagged as a discrepancy...

either way at this point it doesnt make much of a difference... only person looking at it now is you. and if it comes to sell it, the cars old enough that 150k or 250k barely makes a difference...

The mileage is exempt after 10 years or 100k mileage here in las vegas. But yea true I guess age is the biggest killer anyway She still runs like day 1

If you want to "roll forward" the milage just pull the cluster and dismantle it its not hard to chage the numbers on the wheels. And yes that blows. And yes get a car fax BEFORE you buy a car... if its that important to buy it that day then its important enuf to get it inspected by a mechanic and have a car fax done on it.
I cant Slam further. The ground refuses to get any lower.
