ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Big Hits when shift fron 3rd to 4th or 3rd to 2nd plz help me for info.

My old transmission each time it change automatic fron 2nd to 3rd, or 3rd to 4th it make a big hit like something hiting with another thing. and happends to when card drop shift down from 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd. So i decided to change my transmission, ok everything know is fine, reverse take 1 sec. to take it and drive to. but it still making the big hit when changing from shifts, jsut wondering it that is cause of transmission or other thing else? like mounts or what? if it mounts how i know its break?? thanks for some help i will aprecciate.

I have the same problem, only from 1st to second above 3500 rpm's. I think it may be a motor mount problem, or a tranny problem. But I think it's mostly a motor mount problem. Get others feedback as though I am not 100% sure.

If its hitting every gear motor mount. Check your rear one and your front dogbone mount those tend to go out.

Change your fluid with some good Honda ATF, and be sure it's the proper amount (if you aren't comfortable doing it, have it done professionally... at least this time, so you can see if that fixes the problem).

Inspect your motor mounts. They are likely the cause. If you see the inside rubber torn in any way, they're shot. Replace them.

A good strong transmission usually will shift hard, and a hard shift on bad mounts will rock the engine.

Thanks for replys, When mechanic change the transmition i didnot see what fluid he use, but i think it was ones from westerauto, i dont think it was a honda genuine one. I will look for a mechanic to flush old fluid for new and check level of fluid, and will take a look at mounts rear and front, Thanks for information.

another check some one told me to turn on car, put at Drive put break and e-brake and acelerate, I see that the all motor from Powersteering to filter KN make like 2" and half of move up, then when stop acelerate it comes back down 2" and half , probably my problem can be mounts. Any way thanks for hint will be doing it today. And sorry about my english not good.
