ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Hi.
Does anybody know if the 5gen (94 - 97) Accord exhaust fit the 4gen??
Or does some other Honda modell fit?
Thinking of bying Tanabe Exhaust, but they don't have to 4gen Accord.

    Thank you.

from experience it would fit. just need to do some slight modification. all i did was to weld my new exhaust to my existing stock pipings.

It will not be a direct fit. Some modification would be necessary to make it fit, and the stock hanger positions probably won't work. If the deal you are getting is REALLY good, and you can weld (or know someone that can), then go for it. If not, you're better off finding an exhaust made for the 4th generation. I know at least one member on here with a Tanabe system, so if they don't make them now, they did at one point... which means you should be able to find one, if that's what you really want!

zero2sixtyr35, you said that you welded it to your stock piping... so I assume that means you didn't use a full cat-back system. When attempting to install a 5th gen exhaust from the cat back (or header back, if they don't use catalytic converters in Norway) it will not bolt up correctly. If simply weld a muffler and some of the piping onto the stock piping, of course it will fit. At that point, it's nothing more than a muffler.

as i understand it, the 94-97 exhaust will line up on a CB7 fine, from the rear canister all the way up until the cat convertor. at that point the piping is too long... youd have to get some cut off and welded, but it should line up otherwise

Because he is getting a good deal on it. Plus he said tanabe is not available on 4th gen.

Go with the tanabe medallion style exhaust. Looks stock yet it has a great sound to it. Thats next on my agenda...

Any alteration to the system may change the sound, though. It may not, but be aware of that before you do anything.
