ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    right engine?

i have already read the stickies so i dont want people telling me to do that first.

well, while reading them it says that the f22a1 came in the lx and ex. i thought that the f22a1 came in the dx. i have a 91 exr (US ex) and it has a f22a4 in it. i was just wondering if that is correct or not.

the F22a1 came in the US DX/CDN LX and US LX/CDN EX model from 90-91. Only the US EX/CDN EXR got the F22a4 with the extra 5 horsepower.

well, that may be, but not in Canada....he has the Cdn equivalent of the 91 EX with the A4 and my buddy has a 91 EX with the A4.....I wonder why that is......it's too bad we 90-91ers in the great white north can't have the A6 stock.

90 and 91 had the A4 still, The 92,93 EX had the A6.
The 91 SE had the A6 also.

And SOME 92/93 LX had the F22A4.

For canada, the LX, and EX had A4. They have NO DX.

I usually go by what's stamped on the engine block. Forget what everyone else tells yah what you have or don't have because it's stamped from the factory. Now, if you got it from someone not too trust worthy...then you're on your own

If you don't have your facts straight, please don't confuse the beginners...

The 91 EX (US model) had the F22A4. The 91 SE had the F22A6, and was the earliest model CB to have that motor.

                  US/Canadian models are:

                  DX/LX
                  LX/EX
                  EX/EX-R

I'm not sure if Canada got what we call the SE in the US. If they did, I don't know if it is called anything different.

(after typing this, I see cp[mike] pretty much already said the same thing )
