AFC on an OBD-1

I've read a litle bit about these, but it seems like they work mainly with cars that have a mass air flow sensor. My car dosen't have one so how do you wire one up? Just wondering because it would be kindof neat to have, specialy after a cam&pnp.

it hooks up fine to an OBD1 car with a MAP. if you get one, it comes with a diagram of where to hook everything up... or if you go to apexi's site they have the installation diagrams.

you running the f22 ecu w/ OBD1 wiring?

yup, I wired from obd 0 to obd 1 without pnp wire harness. It took forever but is nice to say that I can do it. Oh, and I don't have a map sensor. Do you need one then or not?

your cars running a stock f22 ecu and you dont have an MAP? without it, the car hardly starts ...

F22a1 1992 has a map sensor? It runs good.

every honda OBD1+ has a map sensor... did you use that black box w/ the vac lines coming from it? id be interested to see your engine bay.

yeah that black box contains the MAP sensor and the EGR solenoid.

hmm.. Oh snap...LOL. ok ok. wow, ya, guess I was thinkin of somthin else. So if I got the afc I could just rip open the chiltons and find which one is the map sensor wire. lol, those were the first wires we soldered in so its been along time since I've carred about that litle box. Thanks.

np. the apexi diagram actually has a diagram of the ECU pins, showing which ones to connect each wire to.
