ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

you should go EX head if you can find one it bolts right up but if you wanted to use it youll have to wire up the IABS if you use the EX intake mani.

OK, so everything else will bolt up....i can lock the IABs open until i wire them up....but everything will directly bolt up right? i dont want to go get a head that will require a lot of prep to bolt on....head gasket? which to use?

all f heads and manifolds are directly swappable. they also used the same headgasket. take an EX head (92-93) and manifold, as well as the PT6 ECU

i wish i could find the head off an EX but a DX is better than not having a CB7.

hahaha there in lies where the black hole of the automotive industries rules. Nothing last forever unfortuantly, honda's do die sometimes, see if u can find a good rad in the junker or something, ive found a couple but i never needed them so i left them in the Junkyard haha. all the dizzies however disapear like hotcakes. , just get O2 from junkyard hahah, small enough to fit in pockets lol or just rewire it with some solder. its like $400 to replace Tbelt, waterpump and everything to boot, well thats from my mechanic anyways

the ordeal is over....for the moment....I found a good ex head at the junkyard, and bought a replacement radiator...still need an O2 sensor though.
The car seems to have a little more power..im still babying it as its the first day ive drivin it since the head swap...BTW i bent all the exhaust valves on my other head when the timing belt let go....anyone know the differences with the EX head, compared to the LX head?

^The EX cam is slightly more aggressive, but I'm not sure about the 8-10 hp difference Using the EX cam and both manifolds will yield the best results.
