ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I bet that the door is alittle tweaked, and is alowing water to come in through the weather stripping. Try this, open the passanger side door, and take your right hand, and put it on the side of the door drame towards the top, take the left, and put in towards the bottom. Try to "bend" the door in a way that the top of the door will be bent inwards alittle. just do it alittle, and try closing the door. Take a look at where the door closes into the car, see if there is less of a gap. Try doing that, and see if it helps.

Another thing, if you have a sunroof, make sure the drainage holes are cleared out, and not clogged. If they are clogged, they will cause water to enter the car, and end up making the carpeting wet.

a million ways, the seals around the windshield/door/fender/mirror leak. it could be one of a million spots on quite a few seals, youll have to look into it more. door seal, rubber seal at the corner of the hood, seal along the edge of the windshield, etc etc etc

Get inside your car when it rains....

Does the water seem to come from under the dash, skim along the passenger speaker cover, and hit the carpet there?

If so, your problem is the rain gutters on the roof. There is that black rubber strip that is inside of them, and where it meets the front windshield, its shrunk, leaving a perfect place for water to come in. And it ends up coming in around the corner of the windshield, down the a-pillar under the cover, drops out the dash to the floor. It took me a while to figure that one out, but finally did one day

To fix it, I simply used some black gasket sealer, and shoved it down into the crack of the rubber strip. It'll stay flexible, it'll match, and it'll solve the problem.

You dont have to get in the car when it rains when you can just use a garden hose =D.

Exactly what I was going to say. Remove as much of the plastic that you can and use a garden hose and run it starting at the top and moving down..

this might be dumb because i've never removed the carpet so i don't know how difficult it is but i doubt it's hard. but try pulling the carpet back and get the car wet and try to see if you can find a stream of water or a water trail, that's how i found my pain in the ass trunk leak. that should at least point you in the general direction of the leak.

Used to happen to me, but for me it was dripping down from the AC doo-dad behind the glove box, I pulled it out and fiddled with it, well, it stopped, can't give you a good reason, I don't know what I'm doing......I'll leave

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.
