ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

h23 cylinder head, throttlebody and intake manifold is a direct bolt onto my f22a1?

how much horsepower will it make?
do i need anything extra along side for example more oil than usual?
does it really really work? my sohc to a dohc???

top half is the plenum, bottom half is the runners. you sure you want to try a head swap? you need to take the timing belt off and swap timing gears and the like...

oh for real.... but do the h23 plenum/runners fit on the f22a? (are f22b = h23)?

.... the head swap seems worthless now -- the entire swap seems easier.

That is a one piece manifold...only problem with that is the runners look waaaay too short; that IM is designed for turbo applications. You may be able to lengthen the runners with some cutting and welding but eh...

As far as head swaps...the A1 head flows pretty well from what I know. Get a regular H23 intake manifold/TB, A6 or Delta cam, Ebay header and get a tuned P06...your car will run strong as fack. I had an F22A6 with an H23 plenum and my car ran pretty hard till it spun a rod.

Nah...I gave in and took it to a shop. After hooking everything up we tried to start it...there was fuel, spark and it cranked but wouldn't start. We took the VC off and the cam gears out of alignment, suggesting the timing belt skipped a tooth. So I bought a belt, and we were gonna put it in, but DoctorCipher never came back, so I just towed it to a shop. I'm gonna call them now and see what the deal is, they were supposed to look at it today.
