Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

oil on the tops of the spark plugs where the wires connect, or oil on the tips?
sounds like all you need is a valve cover gasket set, its cheap and easy to install.

you need to leave more time between when you bump your own posts. its the middle of the day, leave it for 8-10 hours before bumping it. not 8 minutes.
no, cyl head gasket is the head gasket. go to autozone and request a Valve Cover Gasket set for your car. itll include all u need. shouldnt be much, its been years since ive bought an f22 one so idk price.
its easy to install. also buy a tube of Grey RTV Silicone.
the only time oil on the spark plugs will make it hard to start is if theres oil on the actual tips, it blocks it up from getting a good spark. oil on the top part shouldnt affect it.
the main gasket and 4 thick circle gaskets are for the valve cover, the 4 thin o-rings are for the lower tube seals. install the tube seals if the TIPs of the plugs have oil on them (which youll be able to see when you pull them out)
to install valve cover gaskets: pull the old one out and clean off the edges of the head and valve cover. rub grey silicone onto the new gaskets so all sides have a bit on it so it seals everywhere, push the gasket into the groove on the valve cover, then drop it on as straight as possible onto the head. be careful tightening the stud nuts, they break studs super easily. all you want to do is make them finger tight, plus a couple turns. (7 to 9 ft lbs if you have a torque wrench). the kit should include new grommets for the studs, so use those too.Last edited by cp[mike]; 07-21-2006, 11:55 AM.
