ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

aww shit. is it a big knocking or a little knocking. does it make the sound when you just idel there, when you listen too it is it coming from down below or the top. because if is coming from the bottom it means you spun a bearing and that also means your gunna need a new engine. sorry man i hate so that but you could have a blown engine. if it sounds the way it sounds. mine sounded like that too when i blew my engine. hows your oil. does your oil pressure light come on or do you have low level oil. let me know. also did you loose a lot of engine power.

alright the popping noise is coming from the top of the motor. When it is idling it also does the noise once in awhile. Um I have not lose any power that I have noticed yet. I mean it drives fine. Oh and it does make that noise when I am turning. Only when I am on a straight away. But once its over 45 it's okay. Then there are times when I turn on the car and I start to drive and nothing happens no noise nothing.

you could have a broken rocker arm. take off your valve cover and check.

Yup I agree with them, sounds like a rocker. Might just be loose, take it apart

check all of them, might as well replace the valve cover gasket and the

spark plug tube seals while you have them off

hmm, mine randomly does the same thing. i throw a 43 (fuel system) CEL. it sputters and loses power, then does the popcron thing, and then clears up and revs on out.

Alright the popcorn noise was two cylinders misfiring due to, two of my spark plugs. So thanks everyone for your help.
