ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    CB7 Feeling werid

Ok im going down the freeway from the dealer and theres no one in my lane. So im like lets see what this machine can do. I hit 95mph and its feeling like its ready to lift off of the ground. What can be the problem. Needs lowering? On the corners it kinda moves off the lane. Needs Strut bars & Sway Bars? Any good sugestions. Im not going to keep the sedan for long. Im getting a job and really looking for a coupe.

Any good suspentions you guy prefer?
Any Sway Bars that are good?

    Thanks for the help.

Ummmm wow thats a new one...maybe a spoiler but i mean its an Accord so it shouldn't be ready to lift of the ground at 95mph...ive hit 120 in mine and it rides like a dream...lowering is deff not an answer to anything mechanical. Strut and sway bars can improve handling but if it drifts i might try and allignment and as far as trying to fly i just dont know what to say....

      he wasnt being literal...

quickangel, in my opinion, lowering the car and getting good sticky tires is enough to make a very noticable difference for just driving around. strut and sway bars make turning feel much tighter, so thats something you can look into after.

O well i just never heard anyone describe their car as feeling as its about to lift off the ground. It depends on what he lowers it with...coilovers suck so even with the best tires his ride would feel shitty..now there are good coilovers supposedly but ive heard nothing but bad news about coilovers but i could be wrong. And yea thats what ull get from strut/sway.

Hows your tire pressure? If you feel it kinda moves off the lane when hittin corners? i take your talking about understeer? Our cars werent made to be sports cars but you can make it into one. As for the lifting what type of roads were you going on? Hilly roads will give you that feeling.

HAHAHA i have been there too. MY sedan did the same thing angel until it was lowered. Its because air is getting under your car. It also helps to get a front lip, for better control. I have no power sterring so when i made to 110 mph the front was lifting so hard that if felt like i did have it. Just do the above and you'll be ok.

Tires and suspension (quality shocks more than anything else) will make the most difference.

Thanks guys so much. Your teaching me what i need to know. Thats what i need. Thanks alot. Well im hoping to find a coupe. Me and my one buddy mike (Michalob) are going to have identical coupes in my area. We got so many sedans rollin around here thats made my car the usual honda (stock cb7's). So i want to go uneike (i forgot how to spell it, sorry ) He got a H22a converted coupe, and im going to be the turbo F22A.

To Nail05 - yea going up a high hill then coming slightly down.

To Ilikebigbutts - I did 85 in a hatch, i didnt feel anything, cus the tin can exhaust vibrated the car so much it numbed almost my hole body.
