ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    F22 almost dead?

Well to begin with in the next week my h22 should be here, ya said i would have it earlier but sh!t went bad with my guy and yadda yadda, but its finalized now. I tried fixing the f22 a bit, replacing some gaskets and cleaning it cause it was pissing oil all over, I thought it was the oil pan gasket seeing as it was gunked with tar all over that part/area of the pan(rear of the pan). I replaced it with the and the oil filter everything was good, looked fine i cleaned some of the tarred up oil off from under the car. I filled the car up with oil and checked to make sure I didnt forget anything. Next day i start it up and after 3-5 mins it starts smoking like mad from under the hood and from the exhuast. Oil and maybe gas is spewing out the tail pipe and its still leaking but not from the oil pan gaskets its somewhere above it near the filter, I havent had a chance to look yet but I have a bigger problem then I started out with and all i did was change the gasket. Anyone have any insight? >_<

Possibly the front crank seal went on you, or the rear. Could be any number of seals in the timing area. If you are getting the h in next week than i wouldnt fix it since there is no point, it will just be a waste of money.
No longer working on the cb. To much time and money has been put into it. Check my for sale thread where the whole car will be parted out.

mine started doing the same thing, so i took the motor out and left it outside to rust, and threw the h22 in it.

if an engine starts to smoke really bad and its running like shit, check the easy stuff like the PCV valve on your valve cover, just pull it off and shake it, if it makes a rattle noise, its good. or just go buy a new one for like 3 bux
