ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

You can use your stock accord harness. You just need to hook up 4 more wires to the ECU. Try reading the sticky in the swaps it will help you out 10x more.

Yea you can do that but i recommend doing a full tune up as in timing/water pump, seals, plugs/wires, dizzy cap rotor and all that good stuff.

f20b, you know that the first year they started makin ghtem was in 97, last year was 01, sooo, they would only be 9 years old, rather than 14 + years old for the h22, so you know that it would be more reliable even though it has a little less mileage than the h22s.

They have alot of small differences buy it's pretty much a de-stroked H duece duece.

Does the head flow better on the F20 or the H22?

I think the head on the Euro Accord R has a mild port and polish job from the Honda Factory, just like the Type R motors.

So compared to the regular H22's it probably flows better.

Im not very sure about the last iteration of the H22A4 though .

H22A4 is prob slightly different most likely. The main difference between the h22a4/h22a is there compression ratios. F20B run high compression but utilize the h22 head still if i remember correctly. The euro R and Type S h22a's have different IM's also with a more aggressive cam so they are different.

Since our cb7s have F Series engines and transmissions, wouldn't the price of the H22A and F20B kinda even up because if we bought the F20B wouldn't all we'd need was the engine itself? Because wouldn't the transmission we already have be the same one we'd get if it were a F20B swap? Meanwhile on the other hand, it would be very desirable to get the H Series transmission right?

Nooo the F series tranny on the F22A is way different from the F20B. Just cuz both have F in front doesnt mean they are the same.

Different in what way? Is it because it's a Euro tranny?
