I'm in the process of swapping my tan interior for a black/gray one and i was wandering how do/can i swap out the seatbelts? Especially the ones that live up inside the 2 middle and rear pillars. If its one of those things im just gonna have to live with then i guess ill deal, but if anybodys done this successfully, let me know.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Sorry, guess i shouldve mentioned ::Had newb moment:: its a 92. i know the 90-91s have the moving power belts, i have the manual ones that pull out of the pillars. My e-brake isnt centered either, its off the one side of the console--HEY, while im at it, how do you pull the cover off the ebrake handle?? Ive pulled my console off, front to back and ive pulled and tugged on that fucker and i cant get it off!! ..ahem..but yes, a DIY for that would be helpful

I went to his profile, and I didnt see a thread that was started in the DIY section either.
Is it necessary to remove the front seats to install the front seatbelts? Looks like
it could be a bitch trying to do it with them in tho .. so it could be better to remove them?
Anyone reading this that has done a seatbelt swap .. chime in and let us know ..
*oops .. I should mention that I have a 90 LX with the power belts*
Thanks

the top cap on the slider pulls off, 17mm bolt underneath. that separates the belt from the slider. behind the lower pillar panel, youll clearly see how to remove the spool.
phatdoughnut made a DIY for swapping 9091 to 9293 seatbelts.
i think its funny people are just starting to do this, i swapped out my whole interior for a different color years ago, me and coco traded

search for "seatbelt swap" if the DIY doesnt come up immediately, look thru the other threads, things like this are usually discussed multiple times. youll often find the DIY link posted in other threads as well.
