Does anyone know if the energy suspension mount with also fit in the tranny area. I cant be bothered to buy a mount and then fill it so I was hoping just to get an energy insert and solve the problem right there. I have the front mount already but if I could make the tranny mount solid to I think the car would hook up a shitload better. Its an auto so every little bit will help. Let me know please.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Solid tranny mount?

You can get inserts which will prevent engine movement in the engine bay and such. I have seen people fill up the mount itself which saves money also.

Yeah I just want to do the insert cuz doing my front took 10 minutes so the tranny shouldn't take more than a half hour. I just want al te power to go to the road, and not be lost due to engine tilt.No longer working on the cb. To much time and money has been put into it. Check my for sale thread where the whole car will be parted out.

Yea i dunno bout the rear one on the autos though since supposedly there is oil going to it so not really sure how it works, but the other ones you can use inserts or fill them whichever one. They will all reduce engine movement.

the only mounts they make inserts for are the front and the rear for an LX/DX manual car... and the rear ones are really hard to find. they dont sell tranny ones, but each mount is kinda shaped similarly, so you might be able to take a front insert set and use a razorblade and cut chunks out until it fit?
personally i wouldnt want to mess with that, id just buy a $30 can of urethane and pour the mounts...
one thing you should know the the side mounts dont do much related to forward/backwards engine movement, thats what the front and rear mounts are for. the side ones are just to hold the engine up in the bay, so filling/inserting the tranny mount probably wont make much of a difference...

Well just to bring this back. I just bought a new energy mount and I am going to be seeing if it will fit in the tranny area. My tranny mount looks kind of junky so I am just going to put the insert in hopefully. I'll update in a few days when I get it in.

I got a rear insert (kteller). Just need to install it. Who has the front one? And anyone got any tip/tricks for the rear install?
I was gonna fill them myself, but like DjSpeedy, I just wanted to install them and not fuss with them...aka I'm lazyOpal Metallic Green '92 LX 2dr manual, 181k miles, '94 prelude VTEC wheels for summer (steelies with snow tires for winter), Omni-power struts/springs, and other junk
