i have a stock f22a1 motor with automatic transmission, i have read that i can use a p12 from a preludeS 90-93 to give a nice little 10hp boost what are some other small cheap ways to pull a few more ponies out of this motor, i want to try and keep this stock motor for awhile but make it a little fun at the same time

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Can't link to search results. They only last for a few minutes.
92cb7pnw, this entire site is dedicated to cars that come with your engine (or variants of it.) Not to mention someone posted pretty much the exact same question yesterday!
It's good that you've read enough to learn about the P12. At least that shows you've done SOME work on your own... but seriously... asking such a broad and generic question is practically insulting to the people you're asking for help.
Here's a starter. Don't expect much more than this.
P12 for the F22A1.
H23A1 intake manifold, F22A6 camshaft, PT6 ECU (to operate the IAB system, and fuel correctly for the A6 camshaft.)
Header - Bisimoto if you have the money, if not, a cheapie generic header works. Megan Racing is among the best of the cheap stuff. OBX is also decent. Add a 2.25" or 2.5" collector to a cheap header, and you'll see decent gains (that will also result in an overall cost of over $400...)
Exhaust - 2.25" for mild F22A performance, 2.5" for more extreme. Keep in mind that the performance gains are usually directly correlated to the amount of noise made... so if it's quiet, it's restrictive.
Intake - a generic "ebay" short ram intake with a quality filter from AEM, K&N, or Apexi will do just fine. Don't run the cheap filter, as it won't work well, and may lead to engine damage in time.
Before doing any modifications, do a full tune up. Make sure your engine is healthy. Fix any oil leaks, replace all ignition components, change all filters, adjust your valves... Your F22A1 made 125hp at the crank when it was new. Chances are, that has dropped to about 110-115hp by this point. Assuming a 15% drivetrain loss, you're looking at 100whp or less. You'll see more of a power gain with proper engine restoration and maintenance than you would from most modifications... and when you do those modifications, the performance will be increased even more.

Best bang for your buck that hardly ever gets spoken is a h23 or h22 transmission.

That's true. It won't make the engine any more powerful, but it'll make you accelerate faster. It would be pleasing to the butt dyno.
A full poly bushing kit, anti-sway bars, good tires, quality springs, and properly matched shocks would also make the car more fun. You can use suspension upgrades much more than engine upgrades in the real world.

Useable power is what it's about, when my tired 115hp/tq celica can out run one not due to power but gearing its pretty sad. Trans mission will make the biggest gain in not only the butt dyno but et's aswell.

It depends upon application, the time it takes to shift should also be considered, along with where in the powerband your gearing will fall into. If anything the biggest advantage for the op would be to get a manual trans as it will result in more power to the ground due to less drivetrain loss.

i wasn't trying to be insulting in anyway i really do appreciate the info, i actually already have taken the swap out myself and replaced all the gaskets and sent the head to the machine shop and got new stems and seals, every gasket on there is new, but being dumb and not thinking, i reused the stock head-studs and i now believe they are stretched because i have a slow leak out of the head, so i'm pulling the head back off and using arp head studs, i'll probably swap out cams, as far as the intake goes i'm not trying to convert anything at this time such as obd* i have big plans for this car for now i just want it to look like the f22a1 just a little more power though
and as much as i would love to have a manual transmission in there the auto has to stay in gotta let my lady learn to drive with it lol
