ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Moog suspension parts?

The parts store I work at carries a lot of moog suspension components and I was just curious about people experiences with them. I'm starting to get my cb ready for a performance suspension and wanna start with the ball joints control arms ect. Before even thinking about springs and shocks and I just wanna know if this company is a good choice for them.

what parts store do you work at? i work at advance and we carry moog, moog is a very good brand for oe replacement, if you are taking it to the track you might want to look into something a little better but as far as a dd moog is fine.

As we speak i am using moog outer tie rods and they have held up fine. Been about 5k miles and a few months. The ball joints however i always go oem for those.

I don't see how moog parts are hard to find. I snatched up a pair of moog front upper control arms for just over $100.00 for the pair on ebay this weekend, and a pair of moog lower ball joints for just over $50.00 also on ebay. Or you can order them from jegs, but they pretty pricey on jegs. Front upper arms are $141.00 each.

Rock auto has them cheap. I picked up some tie rod ends for 5.68 ea. Thats not a typo.
And there is a discount code on the forum for 5%.
I also got 2 lower ball joints. I found the uper control arms cheaper on amazon with free shipping.

A quick search for "moog" would have shown you plenty of threads where the quality has been discussed. I guess everybody thinks they're the first to have such a question.

Can I buy a 'search' on eBay?
Does anyone else have a 'search' on their car?
How do I install a 'search'?

Here's all the moog parts I just recently put on my front end. All were purchased from rockauto. If you search a little I think there is a discount code in here for rockauto. Also I love how my car rides now. Checkout my MRT for more details...
