ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Possible brake booster problem ?

I noticed a weird vibration and noise that happens when i step on the brake sometimes. I step on it and it feels like its rubbing against something and i can hear a vibration but my braking performance is not being affected.

    Any ideas ?

Do you FEEL any vibration? Does the steering wheel shake when braking?

no pulsation when braking ,, i resurfaced my rotors 4 months ago ,, its just a sudden vibration until the brake gets to half way of its travel

Vibration like the pedal was pushing back and forth, or vibration like your cell phone may be vibrating in your foot? Lol.

Is it happening when you step hard on the pedal? Does it make a noise at all?

Any grinding noises? Does the brake pedal vibrate? Does the steering wheel vibrate?
There could be any number of problems:
            warped rotors
            bad tires
            suspension issue

            (POST EDIT)
What does the noise sound like and where is it coming from?

well no joke but it sounds like when a whale makes those weird sounds or like the cellphone one because i can hear it and feel it. Yesterday it did it but not today. No steering wheel shake at all.

Better yet ,, close your mouth and say HUM real quick. Like for one second. The vibration feels like that too on the pedal. Just a sudden HUM.

Do you have abs? If so sounds kinda like what the abs pump sounds like when activated

here is an old trick to try to isolate it

when you are by yourself on a road ,no other cars around, try stopping using the e-brake only that should tell you if its in the front or rear as the e-brake uses the rear rotors/pads only

It could be the ABS pump cycling. The ABS needs to be flushed occasionally and it's something that has to be done by Honda. Any ABS light on the dash?
