ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

As long as you're not accelerating quickly or shifting hard you'll be fine. Basically don't drive like a ricer.

And this is assuming your other mounts are known to be good.

The front mount only acts as a stabilizer. It's not load bearing, so you won't lose your engine if you drive without it. However, the engine will be allowed to move back and forth much more easily without it, causing significantly greater strain on the other 3 mounts. As Jarrett said, you'll be fine if they're not already broken, and you don't do anything crazy. Go easy on the gas and clutch. Shift around 3000rpm (that's my 'careful driving' shifting point)

You may. Filling your mounts makes them stiffer, which translates to less energy lost through engine movement.

If you're already doing urethane mounts on the other corners then there's really no reason for you not to.

It's the rear mount that makes the biggest difference. I don't even run a front mount at all. But I have a solid rear and 550hp...

Yeah, if the rear mount is solid and keeps the engine from rocking back and forth too much, it won't damage the side mounts. Solid mounts (either filled, or aftermarket urethane mounts) are pretty much mandatory if you run without a front mount for long, at least if you want to keep the mounts from breaking.

Go look under your intake manifold. It's gigantic.

It is not piece of cake. You will need little creativity. When I changed mine, I removed only intake line. It was copmlicated to pull it out. It is easy to remove screws but it is difficult to remove it from that position. Here you need little creativity. If you will do it you will figure it out.

P.S. Sorry for grammar or bad words.
