ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Windshield Washer Nozzle

Hi I was driving a subaru and when I used the windshield washer I liked how it sprayed. On my car CB7 it is just 4 lines of water. But on the subaru it just misted the whole windshield at once. It used less then half the water I use. Is there anyway I could buy new nozzles like that. They were just rectangular holes instead of circular. Thanks for your input.

i remember reading a few years ago where someone took the nozzles from a new accord and installed them on the CB to have it spray in a fan pattern. I'll see if i can find that thread again.

I have these, and love them

They fit perfect on the cb but a bit bigger visually.

They are Citroen Xsara mist washer jets.

I had to upsize the piping to fit the bigger nipple on the underside of the bonnet where the pipe attaches, this also allowed more pressure to come through which was a bonus.

Thanks that is exactly what im looking for. My only question is did you have to get bigger piping all the way or just at the front by the nozzles?

Theres like a hole in my washer fluid resivoir. Somewhere idk I've felt around on it but can't find it. Anyway I've never used my sprayers since I got my car. if I were to pour some liquid in there it just leaks out. I've been planning on taking the whole system out when I get my carbon fiber hood.

I had those. Just switched back to my original ones. They worked great, but something clogged them. It might be rust falling into my overflow hole.

Just something to keep in mind

You need to take the bumper off to get to the reservoir.

Yah I know this last time I took the bumper off to repair my legend lip I felt around it and didn't feel a hole or anything.

Are there any DIYs for those who put in different car's nozzles? Mine have been broken since I bought the car and I've been procrastinating about fixing them since. Looking for a new set-up or fix what I got, any help is appreciated.

I would have done this. To bad I already deleted my washer system.

I was going to delete mine, but we use salt on the roads in the winter where I live. Salty road spray will blind you real quick without windshield washers!

Ironically... my CB's washers aren't installed at the moment. My Fit's washer doesn't work ever since a lady hit me. My Grand Prix that I had before the fit never had a functioning washer. It's annoying!
