ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Car stalling

Hello, all. I have a 1993 Accord, Automatic. 240,000 miles. This problem has happened a couple times... So, the first time it happened, I was driving like 20 miles from my home....Got to the destination, everything is fine. On the way back, I was kinda low on gas, but the gas light hadn't come on yet; I'm driving along and it kinda surges a couple of times, so I let off the accelerator...then a few minutes later is surges a lot and stalls with the engine light on.

Second time, I go to my doctor who is 30 miles away. On the way there, great, no problem. On the way back it surges & stalls again, this time no engine light. I wait five minutes, turn it back on and it's good. Full tank of gas.

I can turn the car back on afterward and keep going. Sometimes I'll have to wait a minute to turn back on. Another observation, my RPM's are very erratic, I dunno if my sensor is messed up, but it's always "floating" for lack of a better term. It works good for anything less than 10 miles...

when was the last time you changed your o2 sensor? it sounds like that might be the problem. normaly O2 sensor problem will throw a code, but sometimes it doesn't.

It's funny, because he shares an IP address with you... and that IP address is about to get banned.

Have not checked the O2 Sensor. Do you think it could be the fuel pump?

Were you posting this from school? The ip matched at the time you were both posting this morning.

My apologies to the op for troll hunting in this thread...

This makes me think it's your ignitor/ignition coil.
The erratic RPMs are usually due to that, and the distance/time could be because it's overheating.

I think the OP is done with this thread. He had previously deleted it... I just un-deleted it so I could get a response from sohc4door.
