ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    bad news... transmission fluid leak

soooo, I just put my new exhaust on yesterday, and it sounds great. no leaks, and I installed the whole thing myself.

I'm driving down the road today, and my transmission goes out..like, completely empty. sad part is that I out that exhaust on, and barely got to show it off. I'm about 2 months tops away from swapping my motor, and I need to figure out a cheap way to get my car working for the time being.

i'm leaking transmission fluid badddddd somewhere, and it seems to be in the driver side of my car. which doesn't make any sense to me, because the transmission is on the passenger side of the vehicle. i know i have a hole in the bottom of my transmission, but i patched it up, and the fluid isn't coming from there, because i checked today. but when my friend gave me a ride home, we could see the trail of fluid alllll the way down my street and right into my driveway. does anyone have any idea where the leak could be coming from? does it get "pumped" anywhere besides the transimission?

any help would be greatly appreciated. my car is my only way to get back and forth to work, and i need real advice. so please try to be nice about it. i'm having a horrible day. lol.

they run along the bottom edge of the radiator, and connect to the two ports on the underside - as a sort of Transmission Fluid cooler. deffffinitely a possible leak point

well you could jack up your car again and check to see if it is coming out the holes where the axles plug in to. There are seals there that could have gone bad.

When you said you checked that hole you patched, are you sure there is still even fluid in there?
