ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

There's a plastic cover that's hiding the bolt at the top that you remove and then you need to remove the plastic that covers the b pillar and you'll have access to both bolts. Please do fix or just replace them altogether though and don't just remove them.

If they're just tangled and twisted up then you'll just have to fight with them until you get everything straightened out. taking the bolts out won't make a difference if that's all that's wrong with them.

I've untangled mine before, its not hard

To get out the front seatbelt in a coupe is annoying though

you will need to take out the rear seat, then the rear panel on the side of which you wan't to remove the seatbelt from

After that you you need to remove the cover where the seatbelt pivots and remove the bolt there, then the bolt on the floor where the bottom attaches to the floor. After that you need to take out 2 bolts for a black bracket about midway up the side of the car and 1 bolt holding the retractor in the side of the car.

While its all out CLEAN everything, clean anything where the seatbelt glides through. Just because you CAN get your seatbelts replaced dosen't mean you should. I cleaned mine and they work very well now, before they were shit. It saved me a few hours without a car to get somthing replaced that i could have fixed myself

Now if you own an acura on the other hand, take that shit in and get yourself a free loaner car

Yes, go check your warranties manual, seatbelts are warrantied for the life of the car.

only if there is actually something wrong with them such as retractors not working right, latches not working, frayed belts etc. the lifetime warranty on the seatbelts does not cover getting twisted behind the plastics and they will most likely charge you to fix that.

i googled that up. they said it was a 10 year warranty (after 90-93) for the free seat belt fix...which would last only til 2003.

                          correct me if im wrong?

Its a lifetime one, My real life freind used it on his DX coupe.

I used it on my old acura integra and acura gave me a loaner car too. Honda won't do that though.
