ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Just posted my worst MPG EVER!

My phone tracks my MPG's, Just put up 19.97.

Is everybody else suffering(due to winter), or is there something seriously wrong?

This was the tank I cleaned out my IAC, but I don't think that would have anything to do with it.
    MRT
37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

Lots of DIY videos specifically for our car

Get some awesome wipers! <-- It's a DIY

Winter hurts my MPG also. Warming up the car and uneccessary wheel spin in the snow.

        I don't warm mine up

I didn't think the tire spin did that much. I thought more of the different gas mixture, lower temps, and slower speeds(weekly blizzard) hurt it more.

Your not alone, I got about 20 mpg mixed driving when I filled my tank the other day. It's the cold weather.

all of my cars get lower mileage in the winter . its just how it goes .it seems like the cooler weather makes it harder on cars. the performance is outstanding though. i drove my cb7 today and it barked 3rd like a champ.

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

I thought it might clean out all the gunk in your engine. When we took the oil pan off it was spotless! It's been 4k since I changed my oil, I was hoping to wait till 6k. Do you think that would help? I'm not sure, since everybodies posting shitty mileage.

I've only gotten 30 mpg once. Oddly enough it was highway. Doing 90.

My Fit went from about 38mpg to about 36mpg... though I may drive it harder now than I did previously (new brakes and tires, I'm a bit more confident than I was!) Cold weather does always seem to lower MPG, though I don't really know the reasoning behind that.

My CB7, with the H22 and a street-tuned P28 (done by MRX), got about 28mpg on average. I'd hit VTEC at least once a day, as well.

went from 33mpg down to 30.

                              Edit: 5 speed manual.
