ths problem just started today. i was being stupid and jumped in the fast lane and took it up to about 110. at that point, i heard a rumble/vibration noise from in front of me. my guess is that has something to do with my crappy blown coils or the slight rust on the springs or maybe a wheel bearing. if you could let me know that would be awesome

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Coils don't blow, shocks do... and honestly, if you have blown shocks and were going 110, that was most likely the sound of your tires bouncing off the ground over every little bump, because that's what they do with blown shocks. Good thing you didn't need to slam on the brakes, because you wouldn't have stopped.
Other possibilities are wheel bearings, imbalanced tires, or improperly worn tires.

Stock shocks? Cheap-shit $50 ebay coilovers (which also don't "blow" by the way.)
If that's what you're running, I wouldn't even risk driving that car until it's replaceed with safe components. Why the hell are you taking your car to 110mph with bad brakes and shitty suspension components? All you need is one dumbass to not look in his blind spot, cut you off, and you'll be upside down and on fire in a ditch before you know it!

I'd say wheel bearing. Get a mechanics stethoscope or take it to a shop. They checked mine for free.
Wheel bearings are like the lotto. I drove on mine for 4k (I thought it was the muffler), but the mechanic said he had some people barely make it the 2 miles to his shop.MRT

Only if it's REALLY bad. Mine didn't have any play at all.
I just did a 92 front end. Got it all put back together and noticed wheel shake on front drivers side. Wheel bearing according to the alignment folks.MRT
