ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

check your thermostat first, second your heater control valve cable to make sure its opening the valve.

I've changed a heater core on a 94 Cutlass, yesterday I completely rebuilt a front end for a 92 Accord. Guess which I'd rather do again? (Hint: Accord)

Did you put any "stop leak" crap in your radiator? If so, then that would be what clogged your heater core (if that's the issue.) Very often, that's the cause of a clogged heater core. Another cause would be extended use of unpurified tap water as coolant (deposits build up and cause clogs... straight water should never be run as coolant, and only filtered water should ever be used if mixed with a concentrated antifreeze coolant.)

do the fans come on when you turn the knob ? if so , i'd say the heater core is shot . i have seen cases were the core was bad but not leaking.( stopped up ) . if its stopped up it will run hot because its not flowing properly. drain and reflush the system .

As stated above, check the heater control valve, I think it should be turned toward the firewall.

you can buy a flush kit from most part stores. then drain the radiator , it has a plug on the bottom .

Don't forget to try swapping out your main control unit on your dash with all the temperature knobs AC etc, that ended up being my issue. the board that controlled whether or not to send hot air was fried

if you were to create a new thread for yourself you would get a lot of more replies, but to answer your question is easier to get another headlight than changing your lense....
