ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    01 Accord V6 Brakes on CB7?

    Hello,

I am curious if I grab the whole brake assembly off the 01 Accord, will they work with my CB7? I just found a 01 V6 Accord for parts and I am looking to jump on this opportunity. What about the CV joints? ROH FTW!

complete spindle off the 01 Accord will bolt in and give you the ROH AND 5 lug conversion at the same time. the cv axle ends are the same so ne need to change BUT you will have to redo the alignment when done. I used the 2001 Acura TL front spindles on y 90 LX coupe and took a total of 2 hours to swap it over.

Does anyone know of a decent write up on how to remove the spindles? I'm still novice with terminology about what the spindle is, what I'll need for the conversion etc. If someone knows of a write up or can help me with some pictures I'd be super appreciative. P.S. I've been trying to use my search engine on here for a long time but it keeps going to a blank screen

          butttt....

use google to search the forum.... type in your search term followed by "site:cb7tuner.com" (don't use those quotation marks)

it works a lot better than the search function here.

before i forget again, using this procedure u can't use 15" rims, only 16" and up because the 15's hit the caliper. i know this because i have a set of 15" rims that i can't use because of this fact

                        i used

2002 Acura TL front spindles from the j/y that came with rotors/calipers but reused my accord calipers as the fit with no problem.

That is incorrect. It depends on the 15" wheel. 01 accord V6 brakes are 11" just like CB accord wagon brakes. All of these cars come standard with 15" wheels!
