Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Need help with ROH conversion

    ok so I'm attempting to do this setup on my 92 ex coupe and I ran into a few problems. I purchased, what I thought were, 98 CL 2.3 hubs but I received 99 Cl 3.0 hubs. I went to go press on the new wheel bearing I ordered for a 90-93 accord. I found out it wasnt lining up.... so we got out the digital OD gauge. We figured out that the hubs and bearings didnt match up to each other. We cross referenced the numbers for the OD on the hub and found out it was a 3.0 CL hub. So I was wondering whats the difference in the 2.3 compared to the 3.0 hubs. If i bought 3.0 bearings and rotors will this work or will be completely different? Isn't the 3.0 ROH too? the axle splines are the same, we checked to see if the accord axle fit in the 3.0 hub and it did. Also the width of the 3.0 is longer than the 2.3 so will this matter? how? i need help. thanks

    The hubs don't fit in the bearings, thats the problem.

      the 3.0 hub is a larger diameter and also a little longer, IIRC.

      which obviously, it doesnt work, as youve found....

      unless you want to start machining things to fit, just get 2.3 hubs.

      this has been gone over MANY times, with some people actually purchasing both, to make the comparisons. it isnt gonna work lol.

        ok thanks. yea, i've tried searching threads and posts about the conversion. I know everyone says get the 2.3 hubs. But i was curious for what reason why doesn't the 3.0 hub work, I know the 3.0 bearing must press in there. Is there a fittment issue? I heard ppl say stay away from the 3.0 but I haven't heard for what reason. I'm goin to get the 2.3 ones once i send back my 3.0 hubs.
