Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    that is behind the oil cooler on the A6 engine.

    i figured that page would list it but i can't find it. i'm trying to help this girl i work with that has a 93 SE with the original A6 engine in it since it's in such nice condition for being 15 years old.

    I called it the Little ring for the oil filter when I went to the dealer and the guy knew what I was talking about.

            was thinking about converting my car to use the oil cooler but it seems that they just end up causing a leak.

              i'd imagine if you were in an area that is always over 103 degrees all the time that it'd be helpful but yeah it always seems to leak luckly we caught it early.

                91316-pt6-003 replaced by 91316-pe7-730

                Thanks everyone who helped me with the part number.

                I went to the parts counter today and they told me that

                91316-pt6-003

                has been replaced by

                91316-pe7-730

                so for future reference if anyone is looking for the gasket behind the oiler cooler, ask for 91316-pe7-730.

                also it was only $2.65

                  What 2.65. I paid like 6.50 for mine. Damn NYC dealers.

                    eww i called around and found this dealer that doesn't mark up their parts drastically, i've been going to them for genuine parts ever since.
