ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Fuel O-ring leak...

Anyone know where I can get good cheap fuel injector o-ring kits that are safe with E85? Or are all O-rings now ok to use with e-85 now

Would I be CRAZY to drive this car with gas squirting out of the fuel o-ring?

which O ring are you talking about? the top of one of the injectors? thats a fantastic way to get your engine bay lit on fire. just go to the dealership and pick up the actual O rings that are leaking (replace all 4 !!!!). the "kit" that comes with like 2389 plastic rings and spacers is useless.

you should be fine for e85, not many other rubber O rings in the fuel system, they are mostly crush washered or fitted.

ok called up the dealer and going to get 4 o rings and some other crap... cheaper than all the other parts stores too and they have them in stock... go HONDA!

BTW are injectors suppose to be able to turn very much when they are installed? Had one injector nearly sideways!

Somebody mentioned that you should put a little fresh oil on the rubber before you install everything...just passing that along as good advice

only with dead O rings. youll notice the new ones to be very soft and tight, a teeny bit of oil to make them slide in, but once torqued down they shouldnt move much without some intentional effort.

might also want to remove and clean the lower seals and rings too, but they dont (usually) need replacement.

Well the Honda part dude could only find 1 freakin O-ring.... I think I only have one bad one but I wanted to just replace them all. I ordered 4 complete injector ring kits from advanced but it is going to cost a whoppin $45 for those but at least they can get them by 8am tomorrow... not bad since I am out of town and need to get back to Houston tomorrow.

I'm going to check it again I might just replace the one bad oring with the one I got and replace the other 3 in Houston this week...

Can't believe they dont have tons of these in some bin at the Honda parts place seeing how these are used in nearly every engine from 90-2000 or so.
