ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Camber Kit: SPC vs INGALLS

I was wondering which camber kit is better, or are they both about the same.

Also, my car has "negative" camber, so to correct that, I would need a "positive" kit, correct?

For example, I have a camber of "-3 degrees", would I buy a camber kit that offers up to "3 degrees" of positive adjustment.

theres no such things as a positive camber kit

with a camber kit, you adjust positive and negative camber. + neg camber looks hot

I have the ingalls ball joints and i love them. I even jumped a curb and no problems with them whatsoever. Granted the bang on the inner fender for a little while after install but after a few weeks that goes away. The new spc kits have a thinner nut on top to keep them from banging. Both are great kits so for me id just get the cheaper kit. all in all they are pretty much the same thing.

yes you want a positive camber kit. which they all are, because thats why they sell them, because everybody is running negative already from being lowered.

i would recommend looking into the balljoint style kits, doesnt matter what brand really... the anchor ones work too but if adjusted too far out, the upper control arm bangs into the top of the wheel well.

I'm still uneasy with the concept of the balljoint kits... but I know how you drive your car, Mike... if you haven't popped one out yet, they should be safe for anyone!

What is so scary about upper ball joint camber kits? I don't see how one could pop out. Is the the C clip that worries you?

I'm running Ingalls balljoint kits up front and smart arms in the rear. They work flawlessly.

                    ...adjust accordingly
