ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I got my free 40 point inspection today!

The guys at the dealer told me that the car is in good shape for its age, and the things they found wrong don't require immediate attention, but I may want to have them checked out at some point. He said that they are all typical things for a car of this age.

So, I'm pretty happy with the outcome, with nothing expensive or out of the ordinary.

    Oil sending unit leaking
    Front cam seal leaking
Driver's side axle output shaft leaking
    Tranny end cap seeping

The guy said these are all minor, slow leaks, more like slight drips i guess.
    Not bad, I'd say
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

I got mine done yesterday, fairly clean bill of health,

Main seal has a small/slow leak

And the Oil pan gasket should be replaced.

Also the front sway bar bushings should be replaced (no surprise there)

The drivers side axle had some in/out play, about 1mm. Don't really know how serious that is or isn't though, I never got into them.

All the mech's liked my car, one offered to buy it. And all the salesmen where surprised at how clean/new it looks. Nice compliments all around.

While they were doing their thing I was captivated by a new S2000 sitting in the showroom. It looks so much better in person, I was surprised how much more I liked it standing next to it. Black, with a black leather interior. It was just sex on wheels and I felt hypnotized by it. F22C with 237 HP. The salesman really wanted me to sit down and sign a new one away to me, haha, I had to keep my reserve though.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

Any details on the inspection? I might go get one tomorrow if Gwinnett Place Honda has one going on too.

                              That's my birthday! lol

But yeah, I had mine done last week:
                              1. Leaking front main
                              2. Leaking rear main
                              2. Leaking oil pan gasket

I thought it was funny that my "air filter" checked out perfect....I have a CAI haha. And it was also interesting that they said nothing about the brakes which squeak/squeal/vibrate/pulsate/knock/feel very mushy, blah.
