Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Blue LED Dash

    I was wanting to know who is the member on this site that has the blue LED dash lights? Please PM me asap!

    There are a couple people with it. You need 3 x 194 bulbs for the cluster itself and 2 x 74 bulbs for the needles if you want.

      if you have one person in mind, it's probably cp[mike]. he has a DIY on the led conversion. it's one of the things he's well known for. later.

                  Hey maroon, you have white leds shining at the the cluster then blue backing it, right? Cuz i want the colored backing behind it but i dont want a bright colored light shing at the cluster, just behind it.

                    Uhm, white lights above the cluster....lighting the faces. Blue LEDs behind, but that bright light is the camera flash. The needles are not very well lit with the LEDs for some reason but I have no trouble seeing them at night.

                    This camera is not set to take pictures in the dark, but you CAN see the needles at night.

                          When you swapped in the LEDs, what did you do about lights that would normally light up another color? Like the ABS light is yellow, the seatbelt light is red, turn signals are green, etc. Do they have white bulbs behind them and they are colored covers? Is it possible to change the colors of all the above?

                              hey how come mine can't shine that bright...i even used amber for my own...and when i took out the white light on top of the dash it's not as bright as u guyz own....so i painted my builds red and put it back on the top...so i have amber numbers with red light shining down...i'll post up pix after this post....
