Cut my thumb today...

Had to cut off a tab from the brake lamp socket to make it fit for my bumper lights. And yah. Bs man. I even held it in a way that I wouldn't cut myself.




Im in the hospital now. Getting the piece stiched I guess. Happened like 20 minutes ago. Tell more later

My mom works for kaiser so yeah I'm fully covered. Nothing but a 5$ co pay. So day including today I've only fainted twice. Blood doesn't bother me im an EMT. It was after on the way to the ER I blacked out and kinda came to with my legs kicking and a ringing in my ears, with my mom freaking out and her hand across my chest like im going somewhere. dont understand why her instinct tells her to do that. She always does that when she sysops hard. I weigh more than than her so I would just break her arm. And I'm strapped in.

Exactly what I want to know. Looks like tablesaw/chopsaw type of carnage. I can't imagine what tab you needed to cut off and what type of tool it required to remove it that would clean slice your thumb like that.

Been there done that, except it was my index finger.. to the bone.. they couldn't do anything with it but wrap it and give me vicodine.. told me to keep it elevated until it stopped bleeding... 3 days later!

Edit: looks like a clean cut. Glass cut, or non seratted edge.
