Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Automatic Drivers:

    Do these revs match up with the speed similar to your vehicle?



    I've been getting bad gas mileage and I don't know why!
    MRT
    37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
    30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
    27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

    It might have something to do with you going 90mph.

        If that's referring to me, I don't understand. Your RPMs are 3500. You can't honestly believe that you'd get good MPGs. If you were closer to 2500 or under, sure.

            Like honestly dude are you trying to incite trouble here?

            Your making a thread asking why you get bad mpg when you have leaky seals and are driving 90mph AND fucking with your camera/phone at 90mph which is a complete disregard for anyone on the roads safety especially in MI conditions?!?!?!

            Like i don't want to dislike you but your making it really easy.

              around 70-80mph, i'm doing about 3500rpm. haven't been above that lately but i would assume those are just about the right numbers. JoshM is right, gas mileage sucks when going that fast and becuase i can't pay for my gas anymore, i rarely go that fast. i keep it under 3000 mostly.

                I refuse to give this kid a legit answer to anything. Even if no one else answers first I'll read and carry on. Why? he's only on here to get a chubby over annoying anyone that will give him the time of day...cuz chances are no one will give it to him in person. And guess what...the kid gets exactly what he wants here. We eat it up!

                Honestly dude, don't go ruining the site for everyone for your own benefit. We operate just fine here without the stupidity and nonsense threads. Also it creates turmoil in the forum. It's almost every thread of yours too.

                It's people like you that keep me away from this website. Thus why I dissapeared for about 3 years, just tired of the childsplay and internet drama that started up on here. It went away for a bit but it's def back and you're prob one of the top instigators now.

                  Thank you for your honest answer. I usually cruise at 80, and my rpms are about 32 - 3400.

                      you're better off than i was, i was revving at 4k at 80mph... and this was on the F22 tranny... we'll see how it goes when the H23 one goes in
