ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

It's difficult to describe, but I might have been able to feel it in some of the different pedal variations I was using.

For example: I going about 45 at 2500(?) revs. I put my foot down a little, I sped up A LOT and the revs didn't move.
Well if you put it like that, Its sounds like your trying to find a problem that doesn't exist.
You can try and make yourself sound smart, or you can just as easily make yourself sound really dumb.

Take it to a dealer and within a couple of minutes they can tell you if Vtec is operational with the HDS.

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.

Your transmission shifted. That has nothing to do with VTEC operation.

All VTEC does is change the amount the valves are opened, and the amount of time that they're opened for. It wouldn't affect how the engine revs.

Think of VTEC this way... you're running. Breathing through your nose. You need more oxygen to fuel your muscles as you expend more energy, so you start to inhale through your mouth as well. That's VTEC.

So if I carried around a gas mask filled with Oxygen, would that be NOS?

If the trans shifted, wouldn't I see some change in revs? Yes I was pushing the pedal but I think there would at least be some change.

Your transmission may not have shifted. Depending how far onto the throttle you were, and your previous speed and RPM, you may not have reached the torque converters stall point. You would be able to slowly accelerate without much change in RPM until your speed in that gear matched the stall speed of the torque converter, from which point your RPMs would begin climbing with your increase of speed.
