ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Nice setup man. I'm rocking an H22A in my CB.

This look familiar? This car weighed 2100 with me in it and I'm about 250. I was also spraying too...

              Anyway

I personally upgrade to later model tape decks but still tape decks.. why? Because they act as auxilliary inputs. Just pop in a tape to 3mm jack converter and viola there is your ipod input or whatever player you have (better than dedicated ipod connection as you can play from a Galaxy S or Galaxy Tab or just about any player with a head phone output).

You get the OEM look, cheap to acquire, easy OEM fit, compatible with existing CD stacker if you have one, no stress in attracting break ins, usually has security code, no need for a modulator, no need to power another component, no clutter, no blue tooth pairing required, no reception drop as with modulators etc etc.

Get it and just upgrade the speakers or an amp and sub. Try it out my way. You will not regret it. Well I dont.

LOL! I'll stick around...hahaha Thats a good idea. The reason I get nervous owning honda's is because of theft and break in sooo low key is a good idea! Thieves suck!

Thanks Bacon, I try to keep them both clean! The srt's color really comes out in the sun!

I had my car for a year and half before I put a stereo in it. Just rocked headphones on the Droid. You get used to it.

No doubt bro... me too. My favorite part is watching the transformation in the spray booth. Followed by all the eye candy, the finishing touches. There is nothing like watching a 20 year old car taking on a whole different attitude. Let's see what becomes of our builds... I'm looking forward to watching the progress. Best of luck with your build.
